The 2019 version, The Next Level, is the same exact thing, minus the element of surprise and genuine dislike the previous characters had for one another. In other words there’s nothing really new or good about it.

…it’s not enough to save this doomed saga but at least it gives you a new hope that this horrible reboot of a once proud franchise truly comes to an end.

The newest installment of Godzilla: king of Monsters is bad. It’s really bad.
There was a handful of people at my viewing that walked out and another gentleman that feel asleep in the first 15 minutes, who’s snores filled the auditorium for the next hour until another audience member finally woke him up and said stay up or get out!
If placed in the same position again as that gentleman… I’d prefer the latter.
Hellboy
This reboot directed by Neil Marshal is borderline unwatchable. The backstory is boring and redundant. The side characters are 2-dimensional and forgettable. It’s made to look like Del Toro’s original creations but it lacks authenticity and the execution staggers along a whimsical clutter of flashbacks and painful exposition.
